Barcelona Hotel Colonial

From the minute we walked in the door, our experience at Hotel Colonial was off to a great start. The staff couldn't have been nicer, and the lobby is stylish and comfortable. The rooms are modern and clean, with high ceilings and doors that open onto a balcony. It was handy to have a fridge in the room, and the fruit basket was a nice touch. The hotel is in a great location, close to the harbor, Gothic Quarter, coffee houses, bars, and shops. We will definitely be back and will recommend Hotel Colonial to others.

The breakfast: The breakfast at the hotel was good. They had all the usual items like baked beans, eggs, toast, pastries, and cereal. It was a decent selection and I enjoyed starting my day with a good meal.

The room: I was really disappointed when I entered my room. It looked nothing like the beautiful picture I saw online.

They went out of their way to make our experience enjoyable and were quick to respond to any requests or inquiries. The location of the hotel was ideal, situated in a nice area close to various tourist attractions and within walking distance to the subway. the room was clean and well-designed, providing a comfortable and pleasant atmosphere.

the noise from the streets outside was quite disruptive, especially during the night.

The location of the hotel is perfect for exploring the city and there are plenty of restaurants and shops nearby. The room I stayed in wassuper clean and cozy with a nice view of the street. I appreciated the complimentary toiletries provided. The breakfast buffet offered a good variety of options and the coffee was delicious.

Plus, the staff was so helpful and made me feel welcome from the moment I arrived. The amenities were top-notch, with everything from room service to housekeeping to medical facilities available on-site. And the room itself was comfortable and well-appointed, with air conditioning and soundproofing to keep me relaxed and rested.

The hotel is centrally located, right in the center of everything within the old town. It is close to the coastline too, making it convenient for sightseeing and exploring the city. The cleanliness of the hotel was great, and the facilities were well-maintained. We also appreciated the fact that there was convenient transportation available nearby, such as taxis and a hop-on hop-off bus. the location and facilities of this hotel were perfect for our needs.

The staff at this hotel were incredibly helpful and went out of their way to ensure our check-in and baggage process was smooth. We were pleasantly surprised to find plenty of vegetarian and vegan dining options in close proximity to the hotel, making it convenient for us as plant-based eaters. Additionally, the hotel's location near the port and various attractions made it an excellent choice for our stay.

During our stay in the city, we found a very convenient place to stay. We could easily get to many attractions, like the Cathedral or the Gothic Quarter, with just a short walk. the beach was not far either. Our room exceeded our expectations, with a clean and spacious bathroom and comfortable beds. The staff was always professional and helpful. Breakfast was delightful, with many options and good quality products. We enjoyed the view from our window, looking out over the city.

The room was a bit noisy from the street below.

The hotel had a great location, close to popular attractions like the Harbour, Barceloneta beach, and The Ramblas. It was convenient for walking to Sagrada Famillia and Camp Nou. The staff were helpful and pleasant, and we had no issues with our late check-in and early check-out. The room was clean and spacious, with a great shower. The hotel was situated in the heart of the gothic district, with plenty of restaurants and cafes nearby. the location and staff were excellent.

It felt like a home away from home, with friendly and efficient staff. The hotel provided all the necessary amenities and was clean.

We recently had the pleasure of staying at this luxurious 4-star hotel in a nice area of Barcelona. The location is fabulous, just a 10-minute walk to the beach and situated in the Gothic Quarter. The hotel offers a variety of services including room service, car hire, and dry cleaning, which enhanced our comfort and convenience during our stay. The room amenities were excellent, with a mini-bar, ironing facilities, and a separate sitting area for relaxation. The staff were extremely friendly and attentive, providing us with a warm welcome drink upon arrival and offering tours and ticket assistance. We also appreciated the in-room air conditioning and soundproofed rooms, ensuring a peaceful and comfortable night's sleep. The buffet breakfast served in the lobby bar was delicious, with a wide variety of options to choose from.

Located just down the road from the metro station, Barcelona Hotel Colonial offers great convenience to those travelling around the city. The hotel's prime location also makes it easy to access the local transportation hub, allowing guests to explore Barcelona with ease. Additionally, being right next to the post office makes it convenient for any mailing needs. The hotel is also very close to all attractions, allowing guests to easily visit popular landmarks and tourist spots. The rooms are clean and the bathrooms are well-maintained. The staff provides helpful service, and the breakfast offers a decent selection of food. Some rooms even come with balconies, providing a nice view and a pleasant place to relax.

Some rooms facing the street may experience noise from passing cars at night.
